I love, love, LOVE this book so much that i bought 2! Yes, the pictures are beyond gorgeous and the layout is fantastic but what I love is that the recipes are actually amazing! So disappointing to buy cookbooks that only have a few good recipes in them. From France to the Farm offers simple yet delicious ideas as well as more complex recipes to satisfy all levels of cooks. I have made 9 of the recipes so far and every dish has turned out lovely.I'm picky about what books take up space in my house. This one has yet to be placed on my shelf because I keep paging through it! Addictive to say the least.
The only ONLY thing I would change is to add more recipes and turn it into a large, glossy hardback!

Excellent recipes and easy to make, but not always easy to read. Once read through, it was clear the steps Angela followed. I'm using one of her recipes for tonight's dinner!
I enjoy everything about this book. From the beautiful photographs of Angela Reed and her family, the personal notes along with her recipes, to (and especially) the way she helps bring more understanding of French ways to the kitchen and home. The beauty and femininity that she brings to the farm is refreshing.
Can not say enough nice things about this cookbook! I want another cookbook from our beloved Parisienne Farmgirl ! Beautiful photos, fabulous recipes & wonderful insights into what exactly motivates this super creative, ambitious beautifier of all things intersecting her path. Hey- the French lessons were a bonus too.
A beautifully photographed book that transports us to the farm. Recipes are interesting but not really new in genre but they invoke a more simple life and process for the home cook. I keep it in my collection of similar cook books.
This is such a beautiful book. More than just a cookbook, I enjoy taking it off the shelf where I keep cookbooks and just looking through it. Especially when winter seemed to go on forever.
Having said that, it is full of great recipes. I highly recommend it, especially for cooks wanting to add fresh, from scratch, French inspired dishes to their menus.
